Garden retail eCommerce shop wanted to increase online visibility and sales to be the UK's number 1.

UK Water Features contacted In Front Digital in order to start increasing their online visibility for keyphrases related to their core products. There were problems with their ecommerce site that were hindering SEO results and the initial KPIs were to increase sales to the website (as sales were limited) and as the site was not gaining traction against other, well established competitors to compete in the search space for their keyterms.

The project therefore needed to drive engaged users who were interested in finding out more and purchasing the products.

What we did

We initially helped on a consultancy basis to iron out the indexing problems with the site and to fully optimise the site for the products and areas that the client wanted to be visible for. The results were excellent and from this we continued in the capacity of monthly SEO management. This covered:

On Page elements – Optimised the site with the outlined keyphrase research we had conducted. Content writing to help add value and give greater user engagement. We helped to improve the ecommerce conversion rate of the site overall, which added additional value and revenue to the process.

Affiliate marketing management – we increase the amount of affiliates promoting the client’s products and increased affiliate sales.

Driving search engine traffic to the site – through careful planning, analysis and research we outlined relevant, authority sites (garden, home) that we contacted through structured outreach campaigns, where we offered valuable insights for these readers, driving referral traffic in the process. We helped to cement the client’s place as an expert in their field, which further solidified their search engine presence.
